Build my moccasins

Before you begin

Please read this in full before continuing on this page. For the best experience, follow the steps in order and don't skip ahead. As you navigate this page, you will be guided through the selection process and prompted to add "items" to your cart. This will provide you with a running total with an itemized list of which features/selections you have made. It is recommended to make all of your selections first before returning to make changes. Be sure to read each item description as you browse as additional details will be provided for nearly every option. Once you make it to the end, there will be further instructions on how to submit your order, contract and next steps to finalize specifics and details.

Step 1: Sizing

Please refer to the sizing chart below in US/CAN. Click on one of the options below which will expand and offer the individual sizes. Once selected, the “base” will be added to your cart. This price includes the cost of materials and labor for the base of the moccasins.

Step 2: Toe style

Click on a style to expand the description. The seamless toe style accommodates additional vamp options (the background for the beadwork).

Click on a style to expand the description. Each design is shown in black and white - colour schemes are provided as options within each design. If none of the templates are quite what you have in mind, please select the "my design" option and details will be discussed in a follow-up.

Step 4: Trim

Click on a type to expand the description. Trim options have varying degrees of durability. While this page is updated regularly, fur availability may fluctuate and certain species may not be readily available.

Step 5: Lining

Click on a type to expand the description, which will include properties like durability and warmth. For thicker linings like sheepskin, you may prefer to go half a size up.

Step 6: Add-ons

These are optional. Certain add-ons may not be compatible with prior selections. Please ensure to read the description of each add-on and compare it with your prior selections if needed.

Final steps

Now that you've made your (initial) selections, feel free to navigate to your cart to view them all. It is recommended to open your cart in another tab for ease of use when adding/removing items. Once you're satisfied, you can proceed to the checkout. You will notice that a 50% discount is applied: this acts as your deposit. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you upon the completion of your moccasins before they are shipped. The final balance will be adjusted accordingly if changes are requested. Once you finalize your purchase, you will need to review, sign and send the contract below to boreal.beadwork@gmail.com to confirm your order. If a contract is not received within 24 hours, you will be refunded automatically and your order archived. Once your initial payment has been made and contract received, you will get an email reply from me confirming your selections in the form of a fully colourized drawing. If you have selected the "my design" option for beadwork, I will reach out for specifics before a sketch is made. Those wishing to order multiple pairs are asked to submit separate orders.
